Lever, Kiku Sharda and Vipul Roy to play Partners in Sony SAB!
The only Hindi comedy
channel Sony SAB is all set to launch an exhilarating and exploratory crime
based comedy show called ‘Partners- Trouble Ho Gayi Double’. The show will
witness Bollywood’s most prominent comedian Johnny Lever coming back on
television along with the well-known comedian Kiku Sharda and Vipul Roy in
pivotal roles.
Partners revolves around
life of two police officer Manav Desai and Aditya Dev played by KikuSharada and
Vipul Roy respectively. Aditya and Manav are part of the Special Investigation
Team headed by Commissioner Gogol Chaterjee which is played by none other than
the ace comedian Johnny Lever. Aditya and Manav are diagonally opposite in
their habits, behavior and line of thought.
Talking about his
character Kikusharda said, “Manav is very foodie and an overweight police
officer. He is a total misfit to be a police officer but he
does not think so of himself. He considers himself to be a charmer and highly
intelligent. These assumptions create several hilarious situations and add to
the comic timing of the show.”
Adding to it
Vipul Roy who will be playing the parallel lead in the show said,
“Aditya is good looking,
tall, sharp, fit, hard-working and ideal officer. There are contrast between
the two characters in the show which will make the show Partners more fun to
watch.”
