Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages appoints Kamlesh Kumar Sharma as its first Chief Communications Officer

Bengaluru, June, 2017: Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages (HCCB) Pvt. Ltd- one of India’s largest FMCG companies–today announced the appointment of Kamlesh Kumar Sharmaas its first everChief Communications Officer. He will lead the corporate reputation and brand building exercise for HCCB, leveraging diverse media platforms - paid, owned, earned and shared. He will be based in Bengaluru and report to Christina Ruggiero, CEO, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages. 

Announcing the appointment, Ms. Christina Ruggiero, said, “We warmly welcome Kamlesh to HCCB. Kamlesh moves to Hindustan Coca-Cola after having served as Director, Corporate Communications and Alliances, at Coca-Cola India Pvt Ltd. He has 18 years of work experience handling a variety of roles like Brand PR, Category Communication, Social and Digital Communications, Media Relations and Sustainability Marketing.

Prior to working with Coca-Cola India, Kamlesh has worked at Bharti Airtel Limited and at RediffusionY&R for 5 years. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specialising in Marketing.
